First off, I purchased the 910ef (not from Amazon) and it took 3 weeks to receive. After assembling the machine, I found that there was no power. I took the machine apart and tested if my wire connections were secured tightly and still no power. This brought my frustration, with company I purchased from and Diamondback, to an all time high. There was no way I wanted to even try to return a 200lbs box. So, I promptly called Diamondback tech support and after speaking to the guy for a bit, he said he would send a new cable for the power.
After reading horror stories about tech support, I got nervous. But at least I got through to someone. Shortly I did receive the spare parts. I had to take apart pieces that I didn't even put together, but it wasn't too complicated. I switched out the power connector cable and tested and the machine powered up. I was happy the tech support guy was able to accurately determine what my problem was and get me my parts.
As for the actual product:
Pros:
- Affordable, yet it has very solid frame and doesn't feel cheap.
- There is a good variety of programs.
- The stride works for both myself and wife (I'm 6'1" and wife is 5'0").
- Assembly wasn't difficult.
- Tech support
Cons:
- iPad feature is neat, but hard to actually use an iPad while moving.
- Fan isn't all that great.
Overall, I like the product. I'm getting good workouts on it. I had good technical support experience. Just wish it worked right out of box. But bottom line is that I got it working and the machine is performing to my expectations.
